So MJ talked about the "uncomfortable" subject of the show possibly having to drop a crew member at the end of the year.
I do know that Fester's contract is up. And he always says any day could be his last. He is probably by far the second highest-paid member of the show.
It really would be a shame for them to lose someone else after Joey B got the boot in January. I just can't imagine any other radio show losing two of its members to layoffs in a year.
What are your thoughts on this?

| i would hate if anyone else had to leave, they should cut back on somehting else , even though mj says that the show doesn't have any extras there must be something. i hate having to get used to different people. |

| i did hear the the boob jobs arent totally free to the winner , they have to pay for anesthesia,meds and a special bra,i heard this a few days ago , mj brought it up this morning saying that they might have to have the winners pay for the anesthesia etc.when supposedly they already do |

I would hate to see anyone leave the show due to the economy. I told clear channel that I will not advertise with the morning show if anyone else gets let go. I own a small business which is currently in the making of advertising with the morning show and clear channel. They might as well let the whole crew go if they let another member go. I don't like it at all!

you should download the iheartradio app, its free and you can listen to the show on 933flz with no commercial interuptions like z1077 does it, which is annoying
http://www.iheartradio.com/national_radio_tuner/main.html if you can't listen online, you can get the app for your blackberry or iphone as well. I listen to it on 933flz cause I got tired of the z1077 crap myself!

I would hate to see someone get cut too. But...
MJ could take a pay cut and they get to keep the person
Fester has been there forever but has tried to get more money before
Hurricane has put it out there that he has been looking for another job and perhaps is not happy with something there. However I know he is one of the most important people on the crew with all of his experience.
Froggy is funny and a great asset to the show. He even used to run the sound board along with all of his crazy bits.
Joey should have been the last person to be let go.
And that is all I got to say.

Yeah, a caller mentioned that to MJ but he didn't really say much about it. Honestly I don't even know if that would work. I believe MJ is an "independent contractor" so he is not actually employed by Clear Channel (technically speaking). They basically pay him for his services. Plus you have to factor in his Schnitt Show contract. I don't think it is easy enough to say he should take a pay cut and that will solve the problem. |

yah he is an independent contractor but clear channel still has to write him a check just like they have to write their employees. So yes, if they didn't pay him as much, that would fix the situation.
