I found myself laughing out loud in my office at Flunkie's soundbite of JB trying to say fingerprinting. I was probably the only one in the world laughing, but then again, I'm easily amused. I haven't laughed like that in a long time...
Just thought I'd share. Hope everyone's well

Thank you :)...I've replied to a couple of topics but for the most part I think I'm just a lil' shy :P.
The bit was probably right after the 9 o'clock hour. It was silly, just Joey B trying to record a radio spot and just messing it up over and over. Once again, I'm pretty easily amused, so it's quite possible that I'm the only one who found it funny, but I was laughing so hard I almost cried. He just sounded silly...
Glad to be here, btw :). Nice to see so many fans of the show!

| That was hilarious audio Flunkie captured! I couldn't stop laughing either. For those who didn't hear it, he was in the production room with Flunkie trying to record a commercial for an appearance he was going to do at a local bank, and there was going to be fingerprinting for the kids. He just couldn't spit it out! But it's no surprise since he flubs the English language all the time (i.e. slumbering, demeanoring, etc.). Still kind of odd for a 20-year radio veteran to be flubbing words like that. Probably ill-effects of the beer. |

Ahhh poor Joey leave him alone...he is the best New Jersey/Philly man on there...His accent is kinda still way Northern and I love when he flubs up, it is just Joey..As pain in the ass that he is, I would save his life...though He would not save mine I am sure..Oh well! I love him and he does make me laugh and brings funny to the show.. ! He can be a mean one too! very mean and again very mean...but I am a fan of his dispite his short-comings and lack of love for fellow people who care about him...mush,mush...Poor Joey where the hell is the love huh???

"Demeanoring" *lmao* Too funny! As a writer, I should find the destruction of the English language appalling, but Joey is...well, he's just really something else :P. It did take him forever to spit it out, didn't it? *LOL*
Amen to that, Trauma! I heart Joey, I have a soft spot in my heart for him. He's a sweet guy and very funny. Then again, I have a soft spot for everyone on that show, even the ones that I wasn't fond of. I guess I'm just partial to JB because I've actually met him and chatted with him a few times. Cool, cool guy...
He probably really should stop drinking so much, though...ick!

Well, SlamBaby, have you ever considered he might be such a cool guy because he drinks... (Remember "Fun Bobby" on friends)
Just an observation: PS. I like him to !

I heard it his A.M. and it was funny as hell..but as I recall they stated they had been out last Friday night; where Flunkie spent $100 on that chic who gave him the rejection line number...and unfortunately, to my shagrin: Joey was still drunk...! And probably is now...his liver is crying for a c***tail of " B12, Thiamine and D50 "..or maybe he was sober and hence could not speak as he normally does....hmmmmmmmmmm?

| FYI - When I get home from work today at 5:12pm, I'm going to isolate that audio, so for you all that didn't get to hear it on Tuesday will be able to hear it when I post it up. I also was cracking up when I listening to it. |

| Joey recorded that commercial right after the show on Friday before he got smashed later that night. And yeah I think it was real because he flubs up a lot on the air, so who knows what might go on in a production room! |

But seriously when does he not drink?..he will have to be detoxed if he ever wants to quit..he can never go cold turkey less he risk: seizures, Dt's and serious cardiac dysrythmias...My brother is an alcoholic and nearly died.and yes I drink too, but Joey...he is seriously a nice guy who cares less about himself than most people who meet him..that is sad!

Hmmm....good call. The couple of times I met him may have been some of the few times he was actually sober, so the drinking I don't think has much to do with the cool guy thing. Still, I agree that his drinking definitely influences his personality to a great degree...:) |

Agreed...I still love his personality but I do fear for his health and amount of ETOH consumption...but I am not going to judge because we all have our addictions and demons.
