Posted - 07/02/2009 : 12:39:53 PM On Monday's special show, at the end before MJ got off the air, he told the crew to do a great job because he hopes to retire at the end of the year.

Posted - 07/16/2009 : 4:57:06 PM Bryan's got a good point. MJ is a total workaholic, there's no doubt about it. I think that is why he started up the afternoon show in the first place - because only doing a morning show didn't totally satisfy his desire to work. I can't picture him only doing the afternoon show. He will have to do something else in addition to it. What that is remains to be seen. |

Posted - 07/16/2009 : 12:54:40 PM Well he's been saying he doesn't want the stress of doing 2 shows for a while now. So my guess is it'll all be over this year.

Posted - 07/14/2009 : 4:31:18 PM Yep, I caught yesterday's comment. MJ basically said that once his afternoon show gets to a certain number of affiliate stations (he's got about 25 now) then he will give up the morning show. So the big question is: what is the magic number of stations? I'll go with an even number like 40 or 50. |

Posted - 07/14/2009 : 12:27:49 PM MJ talked about this again yesterday. He was like, When I get the schnitt show to where I want it, Psh, I'm out of here. And he said Fester and Froggy would run it. They said they didn't want it. This came up after they talkeed about rick rolling and before the chia Obama.

Posted - 07/12/2009 : 1:15:42 PM I caught that comment too about him retiring. I am thinking and hoping was another sarcastic comment. Getting ready for vacation, he was telling the guys how well they do, and they do so well that he could retire.
We will have to see. |

I'm not sure what part of the show MJ said this in last Monday, Jerren. I listened to the entire thing and even went back to listen where he turned it over to the crew and they replayed the Billy Mays III interview. I didn't hear it at all.
As for the crew taking over, I can't imagine that happening either. I love the rest of the crew, but the flow of the show seems to be off when they do it. They would have to bring in someone else.
exactly what i was saying |

Posted - 07/07/2009 : 2:53:01 PM yah I noticed the best of was quite Joey heavy. not complaining. They even sprinkled LBM in there. They tried hard to avoid any Jabberjaw audio lol.

Posted - 07/06/2009 : 11:02:56 PM i wasn't trying to say they are bad. they are good at what they do. i just don't think that they could do a sucessful morning show, yet. i am not trying to put MJ down, but he really doesn't let them participate on a plain to where they could learn what it takes. |

Posted - 07/06/2009 : 3:24:27 PM Well fester has his own show currently. and I know froggy had his own show at some point. When MJ said for them to do a great job, Fester kind of joked that they wouldn't be the ones to take over the show. We are in month 7, the end is near. It's going to be interesting to see what happens.

Posted - 07/05/2009 : 11:23:08 AM there is no way any of them could do their own show. i have heard them try for just a few minutes, when MJ was late one morning. IMO, fester would be the only one and that would take some time as a 2nd man, somewhere. |

Posted - 07/03/2009 : 5:10:41 PM wonder if fester would stay |

Posted - 07/03/2009 : 11:40:38 AM i dont think so, i think froggy could take over...or they could always bring in someone else... possible bj?
i think that froggy is capable of more, i think a lot of his obnoxious crap he does is all a bit, and if given his own show that he could do well and drop a lot of the "act"... just my opinion though |

Posted - 07/03/2009 : 01:10:57 AM meaning one of them could take over? i think if mj leaves , it's over |

Posted - 07/02/2009 : 1:04:10 PM I did not hear that, but he has to retire sometime. |
